Rhythms of a Prayerful Life
Carrying Prayer Into Your Whole Day
Starts Sep 26Starts Sep 26Beachwood Library
Service Description
Many of us have a prayer time — a morning ritual, a quiet moment before the day begins, or a way of settling before bed. But the rest of the day moves fast, and the connection we feel in prayer doesn't always follow us into the day. This gathering explores how prayer can move with you into the fullness of your day — through four rhythms drawn from the ancient practice of Lectio Divina: attending, pondering, responding, and being. Not a new discipline to add — a way of staying open to a God who is already present, even in the busy.
